Working in collaboration with Chalke’s branding agency, Konekt led a comprehensive redesign of the festival website to embed its renewed identity into a clear, engaging digital experience. We restructured the information architecture, redesigned key journeys, and reframed the narrative to lead with purpose - why Chalke exists, how it brings history to life, and what audiences can expect. Delivered at pace, the new platform combines intuitive UX, a cohesive design system, and accessible interaction points to drive engagement, increase ticket conversion, and support long-term growth.
The Problem
As Chalke Festival undertook a major transition to establish itself as Europe’s leading history festival, its digital presence no longer reflected the scale, ambition, or clarity of that shift. Existing messaging focused heavily on what the festival offered, rather than why it existed or what made it distinctive, limiting its ability to inspire audiences, support ticket conversion, and attract commercial partners during a critical period of growth.
